Part time tutor at the Huntington Learning Center for exam prep in Math (Algebra I and II, Geometry and pre-algebra and SAT Math prep for the past year. *independent contractor: tutored SAT math and vocabulary to 12th grader in Center Moriches taro ring in Psychology at Stony Brook University have active Wyzant tutoring profile Volunteer tutoring math for National Honor Society in high school I want to be a tutor to help kids that are struggling with schoolwork and who want more confidence when tackling troubling subjects. I love teaching and would love to use my prior experience with those subjects to help others understand it. I've taken the SAT's twice and did relatively well. I took SAT prep courses in high school. I have taken MANY psychology courses and graduated with a degree in Psychology. I'm good at English and I've taken many English writing courses (preparing for a Journalism major that I eventually switched), I did well in algebra as well in high school and in the college math placement exam. I was a member of Golden Key International Honor Society in college. I received a 4 on the Biology AP exam and an A in a biology college course. I graduated with Cum Laude honors. Psi Chi Honor Society for psychology Numerous Dean's List Recognitions.
