I am a teacher who specializes tutoring in reading and writing. I can help students in reading, writing, literature, grammar, English, and composition. I'm also available for test prep. If students need assistance with their college essays or essay editing, I'm more than happy to help out. I have a degree in English from Providence College, and during my undergraduate studies I took many literature and writing courses. After getting my degree, I pursued my master's in Teaching English at Stony Brook University. In New York I am certified to teach fifth through twelfth grade. I have experience working with students from all grade levels and students with special needs. I'm currently teaching the fifth grade at Riverhead Charter School. I'm prepared to bring my teaching experience and history of working with students to my role as a tutor. It would be a privilege to help students enhance their writing and reading skills. When I'm not teaching I enjoy creative writing and playing sports like soccer.
